At Allegiance our commitment is to a quality, inclusive education for all students. Our staff has vast knowledge accumulated through their experience as parents, educators, school administrators, psychologists and researchers. We endeavour to work with all stakeholders to support the learning and development needs of children and adolescents. The first step toward achieving this is the appropriate assessment of the needs of the individual.
Our Services
Individual assessments are conducted on-site at our office in Leeming or by arrangement, at a location where the client’s ability to self-regulate is maximised. Medicare rebates are available for some assessments, with the appropriate referrals. Appointments can be made directly through the website where you will find a wide variety of flexible options designed around the purpose of the assessment and the desired outcome. Education and Psychologist Services include:
- Gifted and 2e Identification,
- IQ Testing,
- Achievement Testing,
- Adaptive Behaviour Assessments,
- Acceleration Assessments
- Specific Learning Disorders (such as Dyslexia)and
- ADHD Pre Diagnostic Screening

Research Informed Practice
We are committed to ongoing research and research-informed practice. As such we ask and encourage our clients to make their de-identified data available for research purposes. Dr Slater is an active education researcher with multiple publications, which demonstrate her commitment to inclusive education. Our data-informed approach allows us to monitor the ongoing well-being of our clients over time, so that we may critically review and reflect upon the effectiveness of interventions.
